Season 52: Seasonal Flop or Seasonal Saint?

Jaiden Crabtree, Mirada Staff

Seasons 52 is a well-received restaurant according to the locals online, but just how good is it really?

In my opinion, the reviews weren’t lying. I’ve been multiple times and it seems like every time I go, it just gets better. The food, customer service, atmosphere, location, and reputation of the restaurant are all impeccable.

The food is on the pricier side, but it honestly deserves to be. They use quality and farm-fresh ingredients, so most price points of theirs line up with the product that is being sold.

They offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options for all those who have dietary restrictions, which makes their menu inclusive.

Seasons 52 changes its menu seasonally with New American dishes that fit whatever season it is. This offers a wide variety of options depending on when you go to the restaurant.

During the summer they have summer-specific salads and soups, such as the “Summer Corn soup” and “Spinach and Strawberry salad.” But with menu changes comes slight confusion for locals who have not been before. Luckily, the staff is ready and willing to assist.

The interactions I’ve had with the staff have been excellent. They’re not afraid to have a brief conversation with the customer and help out with any confusion diners may have regarding the menu. They’ll tell you their favorite dish and recommend it when you’re not sure what to get.

All the staff are so nice and friendly, which creates a lighthearted and welcoming atmosphere. And the decor definitely aids with that welcoming atmosphere.

The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant give a classy vibe without overpowering the lighthearted attitude of the staff. It feels both relaxed and high-class at the same time, almost as if to make you feel fancy without putting pressure on you to act a certain way as other restaurants do.

The decor makes the restaurant the perfect place to eat whether you’re going out for a casual yet classy lunch, or a nice dinner. The location also makes it easy to reach another popular destination for teens; the mall.

Arden Fair Mall hosts Seasons 52, allowing anyone shopping at the mall to take a short walk over and have a seat for lunch. When the restaurant isn’t busy, the wait time is short enough to where it doesn’t feel as though you’ll starve before being seated.

Seasons 52 stays open until 10 p.m and with a great location comes a great reputation, and Seasons 52 has both.

Online reviews for Seasons 52 are, for the most part positive, with the occasional bad review which is standard for any business. Many locals have been singing Seasons 52’s praise.

With over 1,000 reviews on Google, the restaurant has a 4.4-star rating. People seem to be loving everything offered to them and it seems that the seasonal menu has people more excited than confused. And I’m inclined to agree with them.

Seasons 52 is currently one of the best restaurants to eat at, and I highly recommend it. The best dish I recommend is the lobster and fresh mozzarella flatbread, which is worth the $17 you pay to get it.
You can taste the freshness and the price is reasonable considering there is lobster included. And with that, I leave the decision to you on whether or not you’ll try the mouth-watering food. I think I’ve made my choice already.
